About Me

I am a 95% stay at home mom (I have one independent study high school student I meet with once a week) and therefore have some time to devote to my love of cooking and baking, although not as much as you might expect. Babies take way more time than I ever thought they would! And then there's my writing, too.

I learned to cook from my mother, who my friends have referred to as the "Martha Stewart of France." Except she's not a businesswoman. I've worked in food service at a sub sandwich shop, and one very interesting summer as the personal chef of a French countess in Corsica (she is a friend of my mother's).

I've been asked whether I'll ever come out with a cookbook, and I figure once this blog has been going for a while, I'll amass enough recipes to consider doing that. In the mean time, I'd love to hear from you by email, or feel free to leave a comment below if you have any questions or feedback for me.
